Exceptional quality and craftsmanship
Legacy’s standard for quality is simple—exceed code without overbuilding. And when it comes to craftsmanship, building homes isn’t just a job for us. It’s our life’s work, our calling, our passion.
It’s why our in-house framing and trim crews are two separate, independent teams with specialized skill sets. Our framers are experts who ensure structural integrity, while trim crews understand what it takes to add detail—the distinctive finishing touches that set a home apart from the rest.
And as specialists in log homes, we know the right way to do log construction. Our painters have taken training courses in the proper application of stains, and we use stain products that ensure exterior finishes will remain maintenance-free for seven to eight years. Our framers, electricians and plumbers are uniquely skilled professionals who understand and anticipate the natural settling and movement of logs:
Self-adjusting window and door frame systems allow for log settling and movement, ensuring proper operation over time.
Stacking logs correctly and using the right insulation and fasteners prevent cracks and air filtration.
Grooving processes prevent cracks in sheet rock.

This expertise is nothing short of critical.
